August 6th was New Brunswick Day and here in Fredericton, we celebrated at Carleton Park. Tamara White Green Party Candidate for Fredericton North participated in the events handing out watermelon and chatting with those in her riding, winning hearts and minds with her always witty humor, contagious laughter, and an empathetic ear. David Coon, Fredericton South MLA, Leader of the Green Party NB, participated in the events. It was lovely to see the support for Tamara White as she takes this journey as a Green Party Candidate.
Timing was right and I was able to catch a performance by The Lumber Jills, and were many other performances from artists such as La Virée, Downtown Blues Band, Scotty & The Stars, The Calithumpians, Sisters of the Drum, and Multicultural Association to name a few.
More About Tamara White
“For the past 7 years, Tamara has been a manager of an award-winning northside Fredericton based architectural services company. She has led to its growth by practicing values of hard work, fair and equitable wages, effective communication and fiscal responsibility, while at the same time also supporting other local businesses. Running a business has also highlighted the need for better support and relations with all levels of Government.”
“Tamara has been a supporter of Fredericton Meals on Wheels, the Nashwaak Watershed Association, and other local charities. Caring and outgoing, she has chosen to run for public office to bring clarity of thought to Government and genuine consultation with our Constituency. Governing our Province can be complicated and it will take courage to make the common sense decisions that are right for our people. Tamara cares more for people than party politics and believes the party system is not serving our province well. Her goal is a fresh and respectful conversation.”
